That wasn't my take-away from his performance at 8.5f. Not being able to pass the speed of Thousand Words out on the lead on that rail on that DelMar bias is one thing for an 8.5f race but projecting that performance to 10f is a completely different story.

Thousand Words is a good horse, always was, and he was always a player from the very beginning with his breeding. He was always a soft player for underneath material for the Derby. As far as 10f with a field of 20, I'd take Honor AP every day of the week in that situation.

The horse is not an 8 or 8.5 runner. Not every horse can win every race and that…

Honor A. P. is officially toss from contenders that can win Kentucky Derby. Honor A. P. only has one Win out of three starts this year. He does not fit the pattern of Kentucky Derby winners.
