I am not ready to toss Everfast. He has awesome again, deputy minister and dehere, all pedigree influences that have shown up in past Travers successful horses.
I don't like Tax at all. His last race showed me what I needed to see. Plus, he's a gelding. Only 1 of those has won in the last 20 years.
One could say same about Highest Honors, being a grey, but he has many good pedigree influences in his bakground that do well in this race.
I am probably taking a break (actually, a bigger break, since I have already moved most of my betting and interests to racing over the pond and hong kong, japan, etc. ) from U.S. racing soon.
We really need to get rid of the drugs, and other things.
The whitney was lackluster, the Travers won't inlcude max or game winner, and the Woodward is looking like Whitney v2.
Only hope is that some foreigners bring some horses over for the Breeders Cup. Otherwise I have mostly tuned out from U.S. racing except for following a few horses I like like CoH. I like stayers, and there are few to follow here anymore.
Everyone else I've followed has been a horse not from here. (winx, enable, stradivarius, thunder snow, crystal ocean).
The Royal Ascot was my high this year, it was gorgeous and the horses were amazing.
Thanks !! ... solid point !!
