I think this guy was one of the most under-rated horses going into the Kentucky Derby this year. Unfortunate on two counts that it rained on Derby Day and that he was not entered into the Belmont stakes. He was not the fastest guy under 10f but he was a tough competitor. I saw his time for his last work at 1:12 and change. Looks like the guy is finding his speed now. I think he will be a major player coming back in. Looking forward to it.

He was on my radar leading up to the Derby, but ran some so-so races when in position to win and then I lost track of him. He seemed a cut below the best in this three year old group but sometimes they just need time to mature. I'll put him back on my watch list and we'll see where he turns up.
I watched that breeze too Lisa & thought the same, such a strong breeze. Punter, agree with needed time. We need all the great older horses we can get.
