Since I have gotten quite a few emails from members who did not get that 2nd password, I need to explain. I have had to change this site to protect the content. I am sorry about this and never thought it would come to this but we are here and steps needed to be taken.
To all of the members who signed up prior to the Belmont Stakes:
I want you all to know that this site started out with a very small group of fans who got to know each other over the years just talking horses. We posted on a very obscure site and there was only about 20 of us. We have remained together all of these years and I suspect it will continue forever.
Fast forward to a year ago when I decided to expand the site, simply to make it prettier and easier for us to keep our little group going. Many people have signed up here and it has been terrific. Unfortunately, my articles get ripped off. I never wanted this site to be a big deal, I just wanted it to be the same friends that I have grown to love and if anyone wanted to join they were welcome.
Some of the new members here over the year became part of the group instantly. They contributed their thoughts, their information, asked questions. basically, they became part of the club just by being open and a part of the action. They are the ones who received a password without question. I knew who they were and I know they are absolutely trustworthy and here for all of the right reasons.
If you did not receive a current password for access to the entire site it is due to a few things.
1. You may have recently signed up within the last month or so.
2. Have never engaged conversation, never posted a comment, never started a forum post.
3. You may have never even hit "the Heart" and liked a post.
Plain and simple, I have no idea who you are. My only goal now is to protect the material and the integrity of the content found on this site. If you signed up, (or are thinking about signing up) the only thing I ask is that I have the opportunity to hear from you and I hope that you engage with the groups. Only a handful of people at this time have a password to the entire site. I would very much like to hand out more.
As posted on our "TERMS" tab...
Thank you for your interest in joining The Dirty Horse Club.
In order to protect our content, we ask that you subscribe to our site in order to access many of the features. We are a group of handicappers who discuss upcoming Graded Stakes races with the intent of cashing in on the greatest races of the year. With a strong emphasis on in depth research using dosage and pedigree in order to isolate the advantaged and potential players of the race, much of the content on this site is original and exclusive. In order to protect the integrity of the materials and to deter those who wish to copy or reproduce the material, many of the areas are password protected. In order to gain access to these areas and secure a password for yourself, we ask that you contribute as a member first in our forum. Many of the members at this site have known each other for years and while we encourage all to join and learn, we must feel secure that you are like one of us - simply here for the love of horse racing, horses, history, pedigree and handicapping. We truly want you to be a member of the Club but first we must get to know you.
I have only recently joined the site and find it informative and cordial.Just wish I could have found it years ago
We were on a tiny little site and it was great. I never worried about anything. (even though I got ripped off there too!) I am glad you joined here and I knew from the first day you posted, that you were definitely part of the "group"!
Lisa Did I get a password? If I did can you send it again. Thanks
Yes. I'll re-send now.
Thanks Lisa
Hi Lisa. I would like a password please. I haven‘t been much of a contributor as of yet, but have frequented your site since attending my first Kentucky Derby in 2018 (yes, I got soaked!). I love the analysis presented, and like the ”picks” to help guide my own selections on wagering.
Can I get a password?
Daryl
I will forward the password to you Daryl! And thanks for being a member!
I need the password; I knew something was wrong.
Punter! Where have you been?? I did send you the new password but could have gotten mixed up. Please do me a favor and send me an email through the CONTACT tab so that I know I have your right address and I will resend password.
Took a little break after the Derby. Came close to a really big payday, but just missed. Tried accessing the site a while back, but couldn't get on for some reason. Maybe it was the password, but I don't remember.
It probably was. Right after the Belmont I switched the Blog articles to password protected.
