Betting Pool is open Friday thru Sunday. So the "Field" is 15-1......since there haven't been any real standouts so far, I think 15-1 is very reasonable at this point.
Good job on putting that together! This is very helpful linking to the articles. I'm gonna put a little more on Code of Honor and Instagrand for this pool and thats it. I like their numbers the best on the field (best stamina numbers and best speed numbers).
Good Luck Lisa on your Futures ... Thank you for all you do .... Just a small add-on to Code of Honor ... Since 1985 there has been No Winners from Female Family # 9 ( Code of Honor ) .... does not mean squat ....just something I noticed and trying to help ?
@Let it Ride Don't jinx him!!!! LOL! Could mean its gonna rain on Derby Day or it could mean this guy is so good he's even gonna crack that little tidbit of info! Its funny because this guys mares numbers are unmatched on that field so far. Lets just hope for sun.
Anyone want a free copy of Steve Roman's book on Dosage?????? Here you go.......
https://saroman7.wixsite.com/dosage
I'm well thru the book at this point, but if you do nothing else- read the last few pages of the book while Dr. Roman describes his disgust with the current state of horseracing (even though it's a few year ago)- and his retirement from anything to do with the sport.
This quote in the book also stood out to me, " You still have to balance pedigree with class, form, trip and all the other factors that contribute to the outcome of a race," Roman concluded.
Absolutely the best and most important line of that book. One of the main reasons why I always talk about the bias of the track, consistency with past performances, gate assignments, weather, etc. Every factor goes hand in hand. He was the pioneer of a major aspect of horse racing, seriously important work and he handed it everyone on a silver platter. He must have endured alot from those who had no clue as to what he was talking about. In my small little world with my love of dosage, I put up with a ton of jabs from another site where I used to post, and I would bet a years worth that it came from those who had no idea what those numbers even represented. I can just imagine the crap that man went through and everything he saw. I have so much respect for him and a ton to be thankful for. His work as far as reading horses will never reach those heights. Anyone who bets on horses should read that book.
