Not talking anyone out of liking a horse ....something I noticed .... if it matters ....your call
Since 1980 .... No horse has won the Derby with Sadler Wells in the 3rd Generation .....that's a fact ...I have the breakdown ....
also ...mentioned this one time before here ...sorry for repeat ...
Since 1980 ... No horse has won the Derby with Female Family # 9 ....
GL all !
He may not win the race but he has a real shot at that board. And there isn't one horse on the leaderboard that comes anywhere close to his breeding. His time may or may not be during the Triple Crown, but going forward, they dont come any better than him breeding-wise.
Agree ... he can finish 2,3,4 for sure .... appreciate the breeding update on him ...
Update ... Honor Code
Since 1980 .... No horse has Finished in the Top 4 Spots in the Derby with Sadler Wells in Bold Type Black Print in the 3rd Generation ....
Your call ....just pointing it out is all
Let it Ride, I think you are really trying to jinx this horse!!! LOL! :)
@Lisa111 LOL !! No ... in seriousness .... If this horse finishing in Top 4 .... I just tip my cap and move on to the next ....
Realize it's a way outside the box approach ....but it's paid me off in the past ....
People will look at this angle and laugh .... that's cool .... I get it ...
What does the horse in Bold Type Lettering mean in a pedigree chart ??? I know it means more ...for sure ...
Thanks Lisa
@Let it Ride Horses whose names are in black type are stakes winners or stakes placed. A horse who is bold and black is one who has won a Grade I race. For older horses who weren't born when there were Grade I races, the bold black type is used to denote horses who won important races in their day...or Grade I equivalents.
Sorry Lisa ...something else I noticed ....will it matter ...we will see ???
Code of Honor ...Dosage 0.76
Since 1980 No horse has finished in the Top 4 Spots with a Dosage Number under 1.00
Well, well, well, he looked so good in the paddock, looking so growed up and prancey! And then he ran like he did, how nice was that? A wonderful day at the races I have to say. My favourite 11 yr old Colleen's Sailor won too, in Woodbine's 7th ❤️
And so it was. Code of Honor is a beast and then we got to see Honor Code's little beauty beating up on Baffert's only Derby hope. Loved every second of it!
Code of Honor is running this weekend against McKinzie in the Met Mile...........
Code is in alot of trouble here!
